The Flex Coalition, a coalition of the nation’s leading commercial and residential demand flexibility providers, submitted comments to the Public Utility Commission of Texas’s (PUCT) Request for Information on upgrading its existing energy efficiency programs. The RFI contained seven questions. The Flex Coalition comments highlight the value of a pay-for-performance model in energy efficiency programs and urge the PUCT to implement the residential demand response goals and requirements of SB 1699.
